Deep Dive into Subtle Energy Healing
The last time you heard from me, I was recovering from successful exploratory surgery.
I’m happy to report that I’m officially 100% healthy, happy, and back to feeling my normal vibrant, sexy, healthy self. My surgery incisions have all healed up, and I am now able to return to doing things I haven’t been able to do in over 2 years without ending up in sometimes excruciating pain: yoga, jogging, flips, cartwheels, jump rope, and spontaneous jumps for JOY!
I am thankful for Western Medicine to help me rule out some of my biggest fears of the source of the pain: cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, tumors, etc. As it turns out, my doctor says there was a small polyp, but still nothing 100% conclusive that would explain the mystery pain I endured for so long.
So I could believe it was the 4 procedures my doctor performed that got rid of the pain. And on some level, I do believe that. However, I believe there was something else going on here that cannot be explained by Western Medicine, and that is the power of the mind-body connection.
See, I intuitively feel that when my doctor performed her surgery, that the process of opening me up facilitated the release of negative energy and painful emotions that were trapped in my body for decades, even from as early as 4 years old. Before surgery, I mentally, emotionally, and spiritually prepared myself for a positive surgical outcome by surrendering myself, opening myself up to accepting any possibilities. I also channeled my focus towards opening my subtle energies for my highest good post-surgery, with chakra clearing, Reiki, meditation, positive affirmations, and an active decision to trust in the Divine Spirit. I embraced the fear of the unknown, and made a conscious decision to ask the right questions the best I could, like:
- What would the doctor find on the surgery table?
- What does my body want me to learn from this experience? How can I best love and support my body before, during, and after this procedure?
- What does my soul want me to know? What is the life lesson in all of this?
- Whatever I learn, what am I supposed to do with this new knowledge about my body, my soul, my life?
Even asking those questions brought me to my knees in fear, when I considered the mortality of my family health history:
- My adoptive mother died from bilateral breast cancer in February 2009.
- My biological father passed in February 2012 from health issues.
- My grandparents passed when I was in high school/college from heart issues.
- My step-father and uncle died of prostate cancer.
You would think I would feel relieved when I came out of surgery, still groggy from anesthesia, when the nurse said the doctor really didn’t find anything, and that I was healthy. WHAT?!? I remember feeling torn between relief and disbelief, anger, and I asked my husband to get me up off the recovery table, help me put on my clothes, and take me HOME. I felt the emotions of confusion and anger rise up in me, because I felt like I had gone through this surgery for NOTHING.
But then, I went home, hit the RESET button, and allowed my body to heal. I returned to my raw juices, smoothies, healing, powerful essential oils, herbal vitamins, and bio-ancestral diet. I continued my meditations, positive affirmations, chakra healing, and began my TCM (Transformational Coaching Method) Certification course. I continued working. I slowly began working out again, with light walking, yoga, stretching, etc.
The pain was GONE! I continued doing my emotional work. I cried. I laughed. I read. I prayed. I received lots of love, support, and positive healing energy from husband and sons, my family, friends and social media community.
Then one day, it hit me. I got it. I realized what my body, my soul, so badly wanted me to learn.
The message was loud and clear:
The reason I experienced this surgery was to learn from first-hand experience the power of the mind-body connection, and share this knowledge, from my perspective, with other women.
This was simply another stepping stone in my life, a life nugget, and also a milestone and turning point for me.
Up until this point, I felt I had to focus on being an expert in holistic nutrition, raw food, etc., to impact people’s lives. I knew that food was a really important part of living a well-balanced, healthy holistic life. And I thought this was the platform I needed to do my work. My life calling.
But this personal journey into the rabbit hole of my emotional pain and healing, has turned up the volume on the importance of recognizing the mind-body connection. It has amplified what can no longer be ignored for me: you can eat healthy all day long, and have the perfect diet. You can exercise, meditate, use essential oils, and spend thousands of dollars on all kinds of healthy food and supplements.
But if you have experience pain and/or trauma in the past and have never fully resolved/cleared that energy from your body, you will not achieve the healing you need. See, your body has wisdom, and it remembers. All the hurt, pain, and stress that we as humans experience becomes absorbed into the tissues and organs of our physical bodies – this negative energy is invisible to the naked trained eye of a highly skilled Western Medicine healthcare provider. But just because this energy is not seen or cannot be proven to exist by Western Medicine, doesn’t mean it is nonexistant.
If there is not an intention to release the pain buried deep within, healing cannot occur. And trust me, I speak from personal experience. This surgery has shown me that all the raw food and yoga in the world couldn’t heal the pain of my past. It has also shown me that for all the subtle energy healing that I’ve done over the years, I have only just begun to scratch the surface. Healing from pain that has been trapped in a person’s body for years, decades deep, can’t happen overnight. Rather, healing happens in stages, phases, one layer at a time, similar to the act of peeling an onion. Every time you peel off a layer, you realize there’s another layer deeper within. For some of us, healing will take a lifetime. We can choose to accept this reality and find comfort in the statement, “life is not about the destination, it’s about the journey.” And what should that journey look like? It should involve us making the most of the journey, being present, showing up in our lives, and not going through the motions mentally/emotionally checked out. And this is the meaning of life, the realization that we are a soul, meant to experience life and the human condition within a physical body.
So what does this mean for you and me? It means that forasmuch as you spend time and energy and focus on eating healthy, working out, taking supplements, and engaging in Eastern medicine and philosophy on holistic health, if you still feel there’s something missing, some block that’s keeping you from feeling 100% whole, healthy and happy, it may be time to look to your past, and examine if you may be storing pain somewhere in your body, buried deep from your past. Then you can make a clear and conscious decision to release that trapped negative energy, for your highest and greatest good.
I know for me, that subtle energy has shifted in a major way – I am now pain-free, and I feel more vibrant and peaceful now than I have in many years. This was a pleasant surprise! I realize now that at times when I thought I was happy, I was telling myself to be happy because that’s what a good holistic health coach should do. But deep down inside, I held anger and resentment against people that wronged me as a little girl and young woman, and I held judgment against myself for allowing it to happen. I even held fear of being judged from just posting this blog post!
What a contradiction from the very message I tell my clients: self-empowerment includes taking responsibility for your emotions, and not letting others control your emotions! Oh, how life has a way of showing you your truth! As a result of my deep subtle energy work, I have been able to forgive my worst offenders, and I feel so much lighter for it. And that mystery pain has quietly left my body, just as quietly as it had shown up in my life.
My charge now is to shift my holistic health practice. I will still counsel on holistic nutritional choices in support of my clients and in my detox and wellness programs. But you will see in the coming months a huge shift in my wellness programs, with a specific focus more on subtle energies such as chakra clearing, Kundalini rising, and powerful tools women can use to tap into their inner Modern Goddess to live and experience life to the fullest.
My 28 Day Jumpstart to a New You program is the gateway to exactly the type of healing I experienced – it focuses on the healthier food habits, but it goes well beyond that. I’ve included tips on how to detox your life from a spiritual perspective. Women who complete this program will be able to set the foundation for making future breakthroughs, and get a jumpstart on lasting change in their life.
I’d love to hear from you. Have you recently made the decision to deep dive down the rabbit hole of subtle energy to facilitate your healing? Do you find yourself more focused on subtle energy healing lately, rather than eating healthy? How has this shift affected your life? What have you learned?
